As Thailand’s dry season yields to the heat of summer, cool mango plum fruit (known locally as Mayongchit) takes center stage. A specialty of Nakhon Nayok province northeast of Bangkok, with an appearance somewhat resembling a loquat, this mango-adjacent fruit balances rich sweetness with a refreshing tangy bite.
　
The menu at @hotelnikkobangkok’s Lobby Lounge Curve 55 currently includes a delectable dessert with a buttery biscuit base and rich layered cheesecake topped with mango plum fruit, creating a sophisticated sweet-tart combination. For optimal enjoyment, pair it with Mayongchit smoothie, a perfect option for the heat of this season in Bangkok. A tropical mango smoothie is also on offer.

「ホテル日航姫路」のバーラウンジ「夜間飛行」では、5月30日まで「花咲く季節、香りを纏うカクテルフェア」を開催しています。かわいらしいピンク色の桜のカクテルと、ビビッドな黄色が目を引くツツジのカクテルを、それぞれ2種をラインアップ。どちらも福島県で採取された桜とツツジの花酵母を使用したリキュール「Enju」がベースで、傾ければ春の華やかな香りが広がります。季節限定のカクテルを、夜の闇に浮かび上がる姫路城の眺めとともにお楽しみください。
　
As the fleeting cherry blossoms fall and the azaleas bloom in full color, the Bar Lounge Vol de Nuit at @hotelnikkohimeji is offering a delightful soft-pink sakura-inspired cocktail and a vivid yellow azalea-inspired cocktail to mark the seasonal change (through May 30).
　
Both are crafted using Enju liqueur, fermented with natural flower yeast from Fukushima cherry blossoms and azaleas for a delicate floral aroma with all the essence of spring. 名古屋城の天守に鎮座する金の鯱（しゃちほこ）。ホテルではこの名古屋のシンボルともいえるオブジェを、コミューナルロビーの吹き抜けに設置しています。日没後はプロジェクションマッピングで変幻自在に色が変わり、見るたびに違った姿が楽しめるのも面白いポイント。この時期は桜の装花とともに皆様をお迎えしております。
　
ほかにも“しゃちほこチェア”の愛称で親しまれているロビーのアーティスティックな椅子や、客室に設えたウロコ模様の背面が目を引くミラー、ミニサイズのオブジェなど、いたるところにしゃちほこをモチーフにしたインテリアが。名古屋らしさを感じられる瞬間を、ホテルの館内でもお楽しみください。
　
The main keep at Nagoya Castle (a major Aichi Prefecture landmark) is topped with figures of a mythical fish-dragon hybrid called a golden shachihoko – a true icon of the city. This creature of lore is echoed by a fine work of art suspended in mid-air in the lobby of @nikkostyle.nagoya. At night it takes on a constantly changing appearance with projection mapping. The spectacle is beautifully complemented at this time of year by seasonal cherry blossom displays.
　
Design elements inspired by this Nagoya icon appear throughout the hotel – in the lobby’s shachihoko-shaped chairs, the characteristic fish-scale patterns on guest room mirrors, and miniature ornaments placed on the shelf. These subtle local touches help to elevate every aspect of your stay.
